CRAFT & FOOD INCUBATOR + EVENT SPACE

Based around programming that centralizes vital resources for growing makers in food, craft and art, we want to change the way Denver hobbyists turn into fresh business owners!

The HAHO’s Vendorship Program empowers Denver’s makers with shared workspace and commissary kitchen, discounts for local goods and services, and diverse networking and marketing opportunities.

It’s also designed to work hand in hand with the HAHO Market, offering free entry into the Market and highlighting the participating Vendorship businesses through profiles on various platforms.

All of this will be housed in a 1,500 sqft multi modal community space, with an adjacent 4,000SF Common Room, giving a permanent home for HAHO Markets and other events dedicated to serving the creative community.

VENDORSHIP PROGRAM

Partly developed by local makers, the Vendorship Program brings valuable resources together to help accelerate the hobby businesses of Denver

If you value sourcing locally, building community, diversifying capital and pursuing prosperity, consider becoming a 1st generation member of HAHO's Vendorship Program!

The 1st generation will be included in much of the development stages through brainstorming sessions and allocating funds.  HAHO wants to see the incubator customized by the same community that will be working there.  Seems only natural right?

HAHO MARKETS

Members of the Vendorship Program and other local makers showcase their goodies each month, complete with music and a food buffet

BUILDING
CULTURE

The HAHO Market hosts local entrepreneurs that sell handmade products and food, offer services or create art of all forms.  Most sellers seem to offer an extension of themselves, making the HAHO Market as local, unique, and personal as possible.

HAHO Markets at The Spindle happen once a month and host many members of the Vendorship Program, which cuts out the middlemen and let's folks shop in the same space where some of the products were produced.

But it doesn't stop with vendors.  HAHO often hosts a full food buffet during the Market, prepared by local chefs and food producers.  No one likes to shop with an empty belly!

Also expect live music or a DJ giving extra life to the space, with previous acts including DJ Cavem, Poets Row and Jacob Russo.  From hip-hop to folk to experimental, we book musicians that live in our community and understand the importance of local support.

DIVERSIFIED
COMMERCE

WE ONLY ASK $50 FOR VENDOR ENTRY

This security fee is an affordable upfront cost that is nominal enough for almost any handmade business to become a seller.

VENDORS PAY BACK A % OF SALES

Set on a sliding scale, this is in place so that HAHO only benefits from more successful vendors, allowing those who are still testing their product to keep more of their profits.  It only kicks in after a certain threshold, so some vendors may not pay this fee at all.  This also separates a vendor's payments into two installments, making a HAHO Market a very low risk selling environment.

ALTERNATIVE ECONOMIC STRUCTURES

By practicing under-utilized forms of wealth like trading, bartering and sharing, the HAHO Market empowers Denver to participate in commerce without a money transaction.  Have a garden and make salsa? Bring them to trade for clothing or pottery!
