So - Thank You! We'd love to let you know in person how much we appreciate your face, so please join us for some sips and snacks, get to know other Dabble Teachers, and check out The Spindle with our good friends at Handmade Homemade. What to Bring

Anyone who might be thinking about Dabbling - we'd love to meet more teachers (blacksmithing, woodworking, stand up paddling, orienteering, you name it!)

Knitted Hats...For Wine Bottles!

knitting class flyer.jpg

Event Overview:
Have you ever wanted to learn to knit? Do you like making things for yourself and others? Do you like adding a little bit of a handmade touch to gifts?

How does knitting a hat that's small enough to decorate a wine bottle you might give as a gift sound?  Or how about knitting hats and other accessories that are human size?

This is a knitting class that starts small!  We'll be knitting wine cork size hats! You'll learn the basics of how to make a knitted rectangle and then turn it into a variety of things including a hat.  We'll be working small so that we can cover everything in an hour and a half.

Everything includes: yarn and needle choices, casting on, the knit stitch, binding off, seaming, and pompom-making.  In addition to making a tiny hat in class, you'll leave with instructions that will help you make hats in any size, fingerless mitts, scarves and cowls.
