We have missed you this last month! After having a bit of time to reflect on the last two years of HaHo gatherings, the first thing that we want to say right now is THANK YOU for helping us to bring together such an outstanding (and ever growing) community of people. The things we've learned, the people we've met, and the inspiration we've felt has come to life again and again far outside the bounds of the individual HaHo Markets that we have all been a part of. So, thank you for your part in creating and sustaining the HaHo.
And now, as we look towards the future of the HaHo, we need some help. For many reasons we (Matt and Kylie) are having to transition away from the day to day tasks of making the HaHo happen each month. We feel deeply committed to the future of the HaHo Market and we have gotten consistant feedback from the community that all of you want the market to continue as well. So, we are hosting a Town Hall Meeting next month to address the future of the HaHo, to brainstorm ideas for the HaHo's structure, and to gather names of people who are interested in learning more about how the HaHo will be run in the future.
We are interested in finding a person/people who want to take over the HaHo Market in 2012. This could happen in a variety of ways, which we will brainstorm at the meeting. If you are invested in the future of the HaHo or have any interest in being involved with sustaining the HaHo in the coming year, please join us at the Town Hall Meeting!
Monday, Feb. 6th at 7pm at Green Spaces, 1368 26th st.
We look forward to connecting and working with you to continue the HaHo in the future!
Kylie and Matt
