HAHO Gets Filmed?!
How to Get Involved
On October 12th, the Denver Handmade Homemade Market will bring us into the fall season in the heart of the Santa Fe Arts District at the Denver Art Society! This upcoming HAHO Market features over 30 local businesses, artisans and entrepreneurs vending a variety of products from ceramics, prepared dinner foods, produce and baked goods, to handmade jewelry and accessories and various arts and crafts! We will also have live bluegrass music by The Hooks and the Hollows and a full vegan food buffet from Pony Treats. The members of DAS will also be showcasing their art!
We’ll have new products, such as hand-prepared baking mixes by Sweet Victory, LLC, and terrariums made with found materials like vintage pots and bottles from The Nested Nook. We’ll also feature returning favorites Abanabee Designs with their completely unique housewares and jewelry, and the most unbelievable jams by Gorilla Goodies!

The HAHO is undergoing some big chances to its operational structure. We are making the switch over to be a non-profit organization, allowing us to be a strong educational small business tool for Denver entrepreneurs. We will also be able to expand our efforts for workshops, skill-sharing and community development. First of all, we solidified our mission! The HAHO's mission is to promote community resilience through local economic empowerment. Woohoo! Next is to get all of our information collected and organized, and to find a time to meet with the Colorado Non-Profit Development Center. They are the only nonprofit in the region providing comprehensive fiscal sponsorship and organizational management services to emerging, transitioning and established community organizations. They have hired amazing accountants and business organizers to sort out the most difficult paperwork for us, allowing us to focus on our mission and projects. We are so excited to see how all of this pans out, so if you have any questions, please write to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
