Come celebrate the launch of the 2nd Season of the Denver Handmade Homemade Market! The Handmade Homemade Market is a truly local monthly market, showcasing over 35 Denver-area farmers, crafters, and foodies. The HaHo strives to support a more local economy and offer a place to buy Handmade Homemade goods in Denver!
The first Handmade Homemade Market of 2011 will be Saturday, April 9th, from 4 to 8pm at Green Spaces Colorado - 1368 26thStreet (between Larimer and Walnut) in the River North Art District. The HaHo will be hosted on the 2nd Saturday of each month through December.
The Handmade Homemade Market is a place where you can find local, high-quality food and products (including art and crafts) made by your neighbors and friends here in Denver. At the HaHo, we provide an opportunity for small-scale producers who can’t afford other markets to share their products. We believe that everyone has a skill they are passionate about and we created this market to give local people a space to share what they love.
This 2011 season of the Handmade Homemade Market will be home to fruits and vegetables grown in Denver from many of Denver’s multi-plot family farms, organic Chai, silk screened shirts, hand sewn handbags and other accessories, pizza, hand-churned ice cream, home baked bagels, vegan dinner foods, and organic/local spirits. The HaHo will also offer products from several Denver area non-profits including The GrowHaus and Earthlinks, as well as serve as a food drop-off point for Grow Local Colorado.
Come to the HaHo Market each month to build community, share skills, learn about new local economies, listen to great live music, and celebrate our local wealth of creativity and knowledge. Think a farmer’s market, but on Saturday evenings, with music and drinks!
